This distance education only concentration is designed for students interested in careers in computer, information, and communications technology and desire an asynchronous online modality. Information sciences concerns the ethics and impact of data, information, and technology on individuals, organizations, and society. Students will gain knowledge and skills in information management, user experience research and user-centered design, database development and implementation, and data visualization.

uTrack Requirements
Universal Tracking (uTrack) is an academic monitoring system designed to help students stay on track for timely graduation. In order to remain on track, students must complete the minimum requirements for each tracking semester, known as milestones. Milestones include successful completion of specified courses and/or attainment of a minimum GPA. uTrack requirements only affect full-time, degree-seeking students. Term 6
