Sustainable Policy and Governance Graduate Certificate

This certificate is designed to support graduate students in developing an understanding of sustainable policy and governance. Sustainable policies seek to promote social and economic well-being while conserving resources and reducing the impact of human activities on the environment. They encompass human and ecological health, social justice, secure livelihoods, and a better world for all generations and can be created both by public and private sectors. The transdisciplinary design of this certificate program will prepare students to develop and apply sustainable policies in a variety of sectors with the objective of improving environmental performance and promoting sustainable development. This certificate requires a minimum of 15 graduate credit hours of coursework.
