The Corporate Financial Leadership certificate program for graduate students offers specialized knowledge and skills in advanced topics in financial decision-making and financial leadership in a corporate context. The curriculum has been specially created to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively work within organizations to enhance financial decision-making at senior levels.

Applicants can be currently admitted to a degree program at UTK or can apply solely for the Corporate Financial leadership Graduate Certificate. Applicants are expected to have a baccalaureate degree in accounting. Students from other disciplines may be admitted but may be required to take prerequisite courses as described in the Graduate Catalog. Recommended background knowledge includes principles and intermediate I/II financial reporting/accounting. Applicants may be admitted to the certificate or complete the certificate as part of an MS or PhD. Academic Standards
Students must maintain an average 3.00 graduate GPA across all certificate courses in the program and complete the requirements within five years of applying for a certificate. Required courses:
