MSE 442 - Polymer Engineering Processing and Characterization

3 Credit Hours
This course investigates Processing-Structure-Property relationships for polymeric materials. Processing methods include injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, melt spinning, composite manufacturing, and additive manufacturing. Characterization methods include X-ray scattering, calorimetry, rheometry, and dynamic mechanical analysis of polymers. A final project culminates in an oral presentation and written report.
